Reading Room - Web Sites
These web sites are excellent places to visit. Each of these sites will reward the visitor with an abundance of useful knowledge and insight.
- The Bogle Financial Markets Research Center. The many speeches of Jack Bogle over the years on this site are priceless. Jack Bogle was the founder of Vanguard and was one of the most active advocates for low cost passive investing.
- The Efficient Frontier. This is the home of (what used to be) an excellent quarterly online journal. It is no longer quarterly, but still excellent. The site is operated by William J. Bernstein (who is the author of several books we recommend in our Reading Room for books).
- An Introduction to Investment Theory. This site provides an on-line text from a class taught at Yale's Business School by William N. Goetzmann.
- BogleHeads discussion board. This may be the best place on the web to discuss investing issues. Several authors of books we recommend are regular contributors to this forum.
